Norris, from Geraldton Western Australia, is a founding member of Geraldton Board Riders Club. The Duke Kahanamoku Award acknowledges an outstanding contribution to surfing at Local, State, National and International level combined with exceptional surfing administration skills that have contributed to the development of the sport of surfing in Australia. Updated: March 11 , 6am Wind is NE at 12 knots expected to move NE around mid-day. Swell has dropped to .5m and waves are 1-2 ft with slightly more at small wave locations. Tide is on the way in from .45m @ 6am to .8m by 7pm. Air temp max 37 and the ocean is 24.5. Swell kicks for Friday with winds around to the south.
